Matthew and Caralee met on a Christian dating site in October of 2023. Caralee actually reached out to Matt first, if you can believe that. The ice breaker was about how she had a chocolate lab as well in the past. Our first date we spent time getting to know each enjoying a cup of coffee together.

Matthew and Caralee share similar professions in public service and healthcare. Our servant hearts have always been attracted to each other.

Caralee started fostering Bryson in December of 2023. Starting a new journey of getting to know each other on a deeper level. Caralee had Bryson for eight months. During this time, Matt fell deeply in love with Caralee and knew how great of a mother Caralee will be one day. This time shared with Bryson brought out highs and lows but only brought us closer together.

We have traveled to Texas, Ohio, California, and Costa Rica together and have many more trips planned for our future together.
